New game - Monday 15th Feb 2021 - 6pm UK time

Changes this game include:
  • Changed anomaly frequency in the Asteroid Field
  • Randomised special gates (including NSA -> UCS)
  • New bonus for cloakers when cloaked and no friends in sector
  • Some actions take no moves!
  • Change to pickup frequencies
  • Bomber auto-repair improved

A new game will start May 3rd at 12:00 GMT+1 2021

* LC's can now use scrap to create positive and negative atmospheric anomalies in the sector of their choice except enemy homeworlds.

* Decoy damage has been lowered.

* Ship changes after you've reached level 5 will reset your score back to 32000.

New game this Friday June 3th 12pm BST (GMT+1)
New Rust game mode

Home worlds will start with 1,000,000 hp
Each tick HW will lose 1% hp from max (and current if that would then exceed max)
Scrap generated reduced in Roids/UCS/NSA
Shooting ships will produce scrap in sector per shot based on level of target.
Destroying ships will also produce larger amounts of scrap based on level of target.
No LC scrap system all scrap will be added to the HW automatically.

New game next Friday October 28th

New Beta Friday October 28th, Rust game set; Homeworlds 500,000 hp, dock 100,000 hp. Ship change open at 32,000 points, can change every 16 ticks. Scrap regen increased by 25%, LC special gates cost 10,000 scrap, LC damage anomaly costs 15,000 scrap, LC repair anomaly costs 20,000 scrap. 10 moves per tick, hypering cost 5 moves, entering carrier cost 5 moves, entering dock cost 5 moves, cloaking cost 6 moves, but 0 for decloaking. Increased self repping per move but also 2 moves to self rep now.

Beta 50!!!

Let’s spread the word and see if we can get 100+ pilots for the 50th anniversary Beta!

Here are some changes from last game (all other settings are the same from the previous game setting)

A few changes,

-cloakers (6 moves to cloak, 2 de-cloak)
-scrap generated has been increased
-self rep for non-capital ship increased, slightly
-biggest change, capital ships need 100,000 points now to turn in.
-can change ships at 50,000 but will revert to 32k

Mostly same settings increased scrap slightly. Adjusted anomalies and gates. But let’s just get a game running again.

Delaying a bit to allow the game to align with the Tvs meet up and gives Ecvej time to insure the server and game code is all good with its recent update

The changes will be announced subsequently but we’ll reflect on what worked well and what needs tweaking from the last game.
